I took some photos of the full moon a few weeks ago, using the “nighttime” setting on my consumer-grade digital camera and a super slow shutter speed. There were scattered groups of the awesome cumulus mediocris clouds, which are low level and very shapely with hard borders - perfect for those creepy and rapid moon-cloud eclipses.
The setting adjustments were very limited, and I wanted to get a neat glowing effect. This is what I ended up with. Since the shutter speed was so slow it was hard to not get that multiple-exposure annoyance. Not what I exactly wanted, but still some interesting lighting effects.
